Day 01 :

Bagdogra/NJP to Gangtok

GANGTOK: At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 :

In Gangtok

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for half day city tour visiting Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Do DrulChorten, Namgyal Institute o Tibetology(closed on Sundays), Cottage Industry(closed on Sundays) and Flower Show Complex. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 :

Gangtok - Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

(timing will depend on the issuance of Permit). A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake - situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft& Baba Mandir - The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh , Back to Gangtok. Evening free, overnight stay

Day 04 :

Gangtok To Pelling

After breakfast transfer to Pelling, One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling .On arrival Check in into the hotel, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 :

In Pelling

Go for a full day sightseeing tour covering in first half , Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kanchendzonga waterfalls, Khecheopalri wishing Lake, Second half cover the Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins (2nd capital of Sikkim), Tokajuk viewpoint, Helipad ground. After visit return to hotel, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 :

Pelling To Darjeeling

After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling, It is one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Rest of the day free for own activities, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 07 :

In Darjeeling

Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill ,famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga,on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points ,covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PNZ Zoological Park ( both closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway (not operational only view point) . Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 :

Darjeeling - Kalimpong

KALIMPONG: At an altitude of 1250m, Kalimpong’s location is ideal for a pleasant, relaxed getaway. Its clement weather has made Kalimpong’s orchids and gladiole well renowned. Up to the early 1700s, the Kalimpong area was part of the Sikkim raja’s domain. In the early 18th century, the Bhutan king also took it over. In 1865, after the Anglo-Bhutan War , it was annexed to Darjeeling. Scottish Missionaries came here in the late 1800s. The town thrived as a wool trading center with Tibet till 1950s. Today it’s a quiet hill resort and a haven for retired people. Afternoon proceed for city tour visiting Zang Dog PalriFoBrang Monastery, TharpaCholing Monastery, ThongsaGumpa and flower nurseries.Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 :

Kalimpong – Bagdogra/NJP 80 kms 3 hours approx.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra/NJP in time for flight/train to onward destination.
